Compassion & Outreach:

Compassion Ministry:

The Compassion Ministry meets for a work/fellowship time on the third Tuesday of each month, from 1:00-3:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the conference room at Harvest.  All are welcome!

Come join us as we work together on both local and international projects!

Jean Kirkpatrick and a team of women are decorating a room and sewing quilts for the Butterfly Freedom House for rehabilitating Women Prisoners on Walnut Street in Ames.
During the month we are thinking of ways to reach out and befriend Hispanic and Arab families in our commmunity. Bring your ideas and come join in the fun!

We are ripping sheets and rolling bandages as well as sewing surgical wraps for the Tandala Hospital in the Congo. Making encouragement wall hangings out of colorful calanders and attaching an African Bible verse is another of our projects.
