is ALPHA? ALPHA is a course
designed to explore the Christian Faith in a
discussion oriented, non-threatening manner. We
will explore many of the foundations upon which
Christianity is based.
Topics will include:
Christianity, Boring, Irrelevant, Untrue? Did Jesus exist and if he did exist why did he die in the way the bible says? What is prayer and how do I pray? Who is the Holy Spirit? This is just a taste of the topics for the 12 weeks the course runs.
When: Alpha starts March 3rd. We meet from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
Where: We will meet at Harvest Evangelical Free Church in Story City, Iowa. (See the homepage for address and directions)
We will be meeting downstairs in the youth room. Signs will be posted.
Format: Each Monday will consist of a full meal, fellowship, a program and small group discussion. We will also plan on using part of a weekend to explore, in-depth, the Holy Spirit.
Child Care: We will have child care available for children under four years of age.
