Women Minister to Women through..... REACHING OUT!
Through Reaching Out women have an opportunity to minister to those in need in very practical ways beyond Harvest. All women are invited to come join us as we work together and show Christ’s love to others in the following ways:
LOCAL-
Food Pantry
Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry is a cooperative ministry of eleven churches from the Story City, Gilbert, and Roland communities. It is located in the lower level of The Way (Christian book and gift store) at 510 Pennsylvania Ave , Story City. In addition to supporting the food pantry through food and monetary donations, participating churches staff the food pantry on a rotating basis. REGIONAL-
Butterfly Freedom House
Ames area churches are in the process of renovating a home in Ames to serve as a loving, safe, and healthy environment for women recently released from prison. Here they will have an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God, heal from the past, and prepare to live independently and productively. Women specifically are helping to decorate the home through donation of time, talents, and home furnishings. If you'd like to help, please contact

Compassion
