WOMEN'S HARVEST HAVEN
Ladies, you're invited to join us for our Harvest Haven retreat "Getting To know You" on Friday evening Feb 24th and Saturday morning Feb. 25th. Gloria Grell will be our speaker, with Theresa Perry leading our worship team. Come dine on soup for Friday night supper at 6:00 pm. Rodney's gang will be cooking and serving our Saturday breakfast at 8 am. The cost is $10 per person for both meals. Bring your Bible, friends and an appetite for fellowship and great food. Look for the sign-up sheets on a table in our foyer or contact the church office.
REACHING OUT
FOOD PANTRY ASSISTANCE
Our church is responsible for managing the Loaves and Fishes food pantry from 9:45 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Feb 11th. If you’re available to donate a couple of hours of time it would be very appreciated! R-S High School students - yes, your time donated does qualify for silver cord hours. The food pantry is located at 510 Pennsylvania Ave. in Story City.
WORLD GOSPEL OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY
Is God prompting you to join an evangelism/medical mission trip to Honduras? You can join us for a week that will change your life June 16-23, 2012. If you feel God is leading you into serving or are interested in more information, please contact the church office if interested.
CZECH MISSION TRIP
Harvest is planning to field a team to the Czech Republic to help Ritch Trca in his ministry . They have scheduled a family English camp for July 14-21 and are looking for a team of 8 or more from Harvest to help with English lessons, games, and crafts. (They are also planning a teen camp for July 28-August 4. Another church will take the lead on that, but they may still need some more young legs.) Please begin to pray about how you can be involved in Reaching Out through this ministry.
